Senior Planning Consultant
This is a key role for an experienced professional to provide project planning, project control, and retrospective delay analysis services across the full project lifecycle. You will work as a Senior Consultant in a planning and delay role, delivering high-level services across various sectors for a diverse client base. Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management: Manage a diverse portfolio of clients and projects, ensuring high standards of delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead multi-disciplinary teams; review and report on all technical and commercial aspects of projects.
  • Mentorship: Act as a role model for the team, providing coaching, training, and performance management to develop the next generation of construction professionals.
  • Reporting & Advisory: Author, edit, and prepare detailed client reports. Review complex commercial situations and provide strategic advice to clients.
  • Strategic Support: Provide high-level support to colleagues and Directors to achieve business objectives.
  • Business Development: Support company business development initiatives, attend events, and promote your professional profile within industry institutions.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience with a solid background in both pre and post-contract project planning.
  • Education: Degree-educated in a relevant field.
  • Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6 software. Knowledge of MPS is also advantageous.
  • Delay Analysis: Proven experience in retrospective delay analysis is essential.
  • Sector Knowledge: Experience within the Civil Engineering, Building, Power, or Process sectors.
  • Contractual Knowledge: Proficiency with NEC and FIDIC suites of contracts.
  • Soft Skills: Well-developed client-facing skills, outstanding time management, and excellent report-writing abilities.
