A Digital Construction Coordinator is required by a national Construction Company, based out of Chelmsford, Essex, hybrid, paying up to £55,000 + benefits.

A leading UK construction and infrastructure organisation is seeking a Digital Construction Coordinator to support digital delivery across regional projects. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, driving digital adoption, and ensuring high-quality information management from project inception through to completion.

About the Role

As a Digital Construction Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting digital construction activities across multiple projects. You’ll help manage digital workflows, support BIM processes, and promote a digital-first culture within project teams. This role involves working closely with information managers, design, planning, commercial and operational teams to ensure digital tools and standards are adopted effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the set-up and management of the Common Data Environment (CDE) in line with ISO 19650.
  • Assist with developing and updating BIM Execution Plans and associated digital documentation.
  • Contribute to monthly reporting on digital implementation, adoption, and project maturity.
  • Collate and manage supply chain digital capability assessments for relevant projects.
  • Promote digital best practice across business units to help drive cultural change towards a digital-first approach.
  • Support information management processes to ensure smooth digital delivery across the project lifecycle.

  • Enthusiastic about adopting new technologies and improving traditional construction processes.
  • Knowledgeable about openBIM standards such as IFC and COBie, with a good understanding of ISO 19650 requirements.
  • Confident in challenging existing ways of working and encouraging digital innovation.
