We are seeking a Lead MEP Planner to support the successful delivery of mechanical and electrical building services projects. This position would suit an experienced Senior MEP Planner looking to step up or a Lead Planning Manager looking for a change. The role will be hands on initially before the opportunity to build and manage a team down the line.
Key Responsibilities
· Produce and maintain integrated project programmes covering design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.
· Monitor site progress, update schedules, and highlight risks to key milestones.
· Undertake critical path reviews and provide clear guidance to delivery teams on sequencing and mitigation strategies.
· Support pre-construction activities including tender programmes and methodology input.
· Ensure programmes align with contractual obligations and reporting requirements.
· Prepare clear and accurate progress reports for internal and client stakeholders.
· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and supply chain partners to ensure realistic and achievable schedules.
About You
· Background in Mechanical & Electrical / Building Services projects.
· Experience using Asta Powerproject.
· Understanding of construction sequencing and commissioning processes within MEP environments.
· Exposure to programme updates, short-term planning, or tender planning.
· Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with site teams and clients.
· Relevant qualification in Building Services, Construction Management or similar (HNC/HND/Degree desirable but not essential).
