A Senior Electrical Estimator is being sought by a large UK Main Contractor. Offering exceptional career growth prospects, this hybrid role is based out of a London office, and will pay up to £85,000 + benefits.

About the Role

Are you an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator looking to advance your career with a leading M&E contractor? We are seeking a talented professional to join our dynamic team, working on high-profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects across multiple sectors.

As a Senior Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in producing competitive tenders, preparing estimates, and supporting the delivery of innovative building services solutions. You’ll collaborate with surveyors, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure all estimating processes and procedures are followed, and that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for mechanical and electrical projects.
  • Work closely with surveyors to develop quantified schedules of rates and bills of quantities.
  • Attend and contribute to tender start-up, pre-price, and price meetings.
  • Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost savings.

About You
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator or Senior Estimator within the building services (M&E) sector.
  • Strong knowledge of estimating processes, tendering, and cost planning.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
