We are seeking a highly experienced Project Controls Manager, in Manchester, UK, to lead the controls function on a nationally significant multi-billion-pound infrastructure programme. The role is hybrid based, and will pay up to £100,000 + benefits.

Key Project Controls Management Responsibilities
  • Establish and manage integrated project control systems (cost, schedule, risk, performance).
  • Lead cost engineering, earned value management (EVM), planning, and risk disciplines.
  • Interface with planning, commercial, engineering, and delivery teams.
  • Deliver strategic insights through accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Build and lead a high-performing project controls team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Expert in Project Controls within major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong NEC3/NEC4 contract knowledge.
  • Background in site-based roles (planning, engineering, project management).
  • Proven experience in programme governance and stakeholder reporting.
  • Skilled in Power BI or similar for data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in joint venture (JV) environments is a plus.
