Our client is a leading consultancy and they are looking for Planning Manager to lead the strategic planning efforts for one of the UK’s most critical infrastructure projects.

You will harness your expertise to drive the development of detailed schedules aligned with high-stakes national security goals. This leadership role offers the chance to oversee a talented planning team, influence executive decision-making, and ensure seamless project delivery within a highly regulated, nuclear environment.

Required Skills

  • Proven senior planner or planning manager experience managing planning teams on large infrastructure projects
  • Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 and Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain
  • Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder influencing ability
  • Membership in recognized professional bodies (APM, CIOB, or Guild of Planning and Controls)
Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Relevant university degree in project management, engineering, or related fields
  • Extensive experience in complex, regulated environments
