Lead Project Planner is required for long term contract work in Odense, Denmark, overseeing project planning and advanced scheduling across various Pharmaceutical Construction projects. In this Planning Engineer role, you’ll manage a large-scale construction project, pre-con to commissioning, facilitating successful project completion through effective scheduling, risk management and resource planning. 

Project Planner Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and Scope Management: Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules, ensuring full scope coverage and contingency planning.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align project timelines and facilitate pull planning sessions.
  • Performance Tracking: Evaluate project progress against schedules, prepare progress reports, and communicate status regularly.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work with engineering, procurement, and construction management teams to optimise work sequencing and ensure schedule accuracy.
  • Risk Management: Conduct risk analysis and recommend schedule improvements for effective project execution. 

Desired Project Planner Experience:
  • Senior level Project Planning experience within a construction environment.
  • Expert knowledge in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of commercial construction processes in Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences environments.
  • Skilled in schedulingresource planning and managing multiple projects.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Team leadership and adept at building cross-functional relationships.
