About the Opportunity
Are you an experienced Senior Planner looking to lead scheduling on a major, high-profile infrastructure and logistics development? We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Planner to play a pivotal role in delivering large-scale earthworks, highways, and infrastructure packages for a major logistics hub.
Working closely with senior construction managers and project teams, you will take ownership of developing, monitoring, and maintaining complex project schedules to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Scheduling: Lead the creation, rigorous monitoring, and updating of detailed construction programs using Primavera P6.
  • Planning Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert, providing strategic planning and scheduling advice across various phases of the infrastructure project.
  • Contract Administration: Manage schedules in strict accordance with NEC contract guidelines and requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Actively engage, consult, and build relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, landowners, and local authorities.
  • Risk & Problem Solving: Proactively identify critical path issues, potential bottlenecks, and project risks, developing robust mitigation strategies.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare clear, comprehensive progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and documentation for senior management.
  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Work cross-functionally with engineering and commercial departments while mentoring junior planning team members.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required
  • Industry Experience: Proven track record as a Senior Planner working on heavy civil engineering, major earthworks, or highways/infrastructure projects.
  • Software & Systems: Advanced, hands-on proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
  • Contractual Knowledge: Robust understanding and practical experience working under NEC forms of contract.
  • Planning Principles: Strong understanding of project management principles, critical path analysis, and earned value management.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex schedule data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Highly analytical with a proactive approach to resolving project delivery challenges.
