Focusing entirely on the post-contract delivery phase, you will provide robust commercial and contract administration support, acting as the key point of contact for all procurement, contract, and commercial matters. We are looking for 1 x Senior Contract Manager and 1 x Intermediate Contract Manager

Key Responsibilities Contract Administration & Management
  • Lead the day-to-day administration of EPC contracts, ensuring strict adherence to contractual terms and obligations.

  • Manage and administer supplementary accounts, including consultants, subcontractors, and supplier contracts.

  • Ensure all commercial activities strictly align with the core principles of the client’s established Commercial Manual and governance procedures.

Commercial & Financial Control
  • Manage cost reporting, accurate forecasting, and cash flow analysis for the project delivery phase.

  • Proactively negotiate, assess, and agree on Compensation Events and variations.

  • Oversee the procurement of any necessary supporting contracts required during the delivery phase.

Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all procurement and commercial queries within the project scope.

  • Work collaboratively within the client's structure, reporting directly to the designated Procurement & Commercial (P&C) Manager responsible for the project.

Candidate Requirements Experience & Qualifications
  • Sector Expertise: Proven experience working within the Energy and Utilities sectors is highly preferred.

  • Contractual Knowledge: Deep familiarity and hands-on experience with NEC3 contracts, specifically Option A (Priced contract with activity schedule).

  • Project Track Record: Demonstrable experience working on major projects, with a strong background in post-contract administration, robust cost reporting, and complex commercial negotiations.

Skills & Attributes
  • Strong negotiation skills with a commercially astute mindset.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to embed seamlessly into a client's corporate structure and uphold professional consultancy standards.

  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple contract accounts simultaneously.

Location and Travel Requirements This role offers a flexible hybrid working model, but requires regular face-to-face collaboration and site visibility:

  • Office Attendance: Ability to travel to a regional client office 2 to 3 days per week. Suitable home locations include areas adjacent to office hubs in Reading, Leeds, Glasgow, or Perth.

  • Site Visits: Requirement to undertake monthly site visits to project locations across the South of England.

  • A dynamic, embedded client environment backed by the support, culture, and career progression opportunities of a leading global consultancy.

  • A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
