You will report directly to the Planning Manager and will take ownership of several project plans, drive the project team to deliver to the plan, and challenge any delay and deviation. Working with Senior Planners, we can offer coaching and guiding for your ongoing development into a planning expert and help drive outperformance amongst the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaboratively develop and maintain robust detailed project plans for the full project lifecycle.
- Ensure project plans capture the full project scope and resources are considered and loaded as required.
- Proactively identify opportunities and risks in the plan and monitor the critical path and key milestones.
- Review and challenge supply chain programmes and ensure these are integrated with the main project plan.
- Develop programmes in line with company planning procedures, including:
- Implementation of required project and activity codes.
- Baseline management.
- Production of programme narratives for client submission.
- Periodic schedule quality and integrity checks.
- Implementation of required project and activity codes.
- Experience working on relevant projects within the Water Industry.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Understanding of collaborative planning processes, with the ability to:
- Interrogate drawings to implement efficient planning services.
- Support detailed claims programme development and contractual changes.

- Strong communication skills for conveying complex information to various audiences.
- Ability to work in pressurized situations to tight deadlines.
- Adaptable and curious, with a desire to both learn from and support the wider team.
- Desired: A technical degree in a relevant field.
